The Padres return home from a four-day, four-game road trip to start their seventh homestand of the regular season—a three day, three-game stretch—beginning Friday, July 15 when the Arizona Diamondbacks come to town.
The homestand begins with City Connect Friday. The Padres will wear their Nike San Diego City Connect jersey on the field Friday featuring iconic California imagery with the vibrant colors of the Baja peninsula, honoring a blend of cultures that makes the city so special. The jersey evokes a pink and yellow sunset dropping behind the Pacific Ocean on a clear summer day. Friday also marks the beginning of Star Wars Weekend featuring a dedicated Theme Game package (SOLD OUT) and various Star Wars-themed activities, including:
Party in the Park presented by Southwest Airlines returns on Friday with a Star Wars theme. Fans are encouraged to come dressed in their Star Wars gear and enjoy a pregame happy hour with $5 drink specials, activities and live music available in Gallagher Square from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
The Padres, San Diego Community Catholic and Rise Up will celebrate Catholic Night at Petco Park on Friday, featuring a dedicated Theme Game package (SOLD OUT) .
SATURDAY, JULY 16 VS. ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS @ 5:40 P.M.
Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday to watch the Padres take batting practice prior to the game. Members can enter through East Village Gate as early as 2:00 p.m., with select Members receiving a credential to sit in designated seating closer to the field. Custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice, and the lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store.
Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game to enjoy a Star Wars-Themed Postgame Fireworks Show choreographed to music from Star Wars films.
SUNDAY, JULY 17 VS. ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS @ 1:10 P.M.
KidsFest presented by SuperMouth is back at Gallagher Square featuring a Star Wars-theme. Activities include:
Games, airbrush tattoo artists, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities starting two hours prior to every Sunday home game.
The Padres will celebrate Military Appreciation Day at Petco Park by honoring the U.S. Coast Guard presented by USAA. There will be a baseline ceremony with 100 Coast Guardsmen and women under the direction of CMDCM Greg Via, U.S. Coast Guard, a flyover from a Coast Guard Air Station San Diego MH-6OT Jayhawk Helicopter, and nine U.S. Coast Guard representatives will take the field with the Padres starters as part of Military Takes the Field.
The Padres are inviting all Scouts and their families to Petco Park for Scout Day #1 in community partnership with Boy Scouts of America San Diego - Imperial Council. A limited-edition themed Padres jersey is available exclusively with the purchase of a Scout Day #1 Theme Game ticket package at www.padres.com/themegames. Jersey sizes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Following the Padres game, there will be a concert at the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square featuring Rise Against and The Used. Gates for the show will open at approximately 5:30 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. A separate ticket is required to attend the concert.
