Padres sign four additional players prior to Draft deadline
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres announced today they have agreed to terms with four additional players from the 2019 MLB First-Year Player Draft prior to today’s deadline: RHP Drake Fellows (6th rd.), LHP Mason Feole (11th rd.), LHP Bodi Rascon (14th rd.) and C Jared Alvarez-Lopez (17th rd.).
Including the non-drafted free agent, the Padres agreed to terms with three catchers, four infielders, six outfielders and 20 pitchers (9 LHP, 11 RHP). The club signed 26 college players and seven out of high school.
