Payton Tolle, Miguel Rojas and Ernie Clement to serve as World Series correspondents
Major League Baseball on Thursday announced that Boston Red Sox breakout star pitcher Payton Tolle, two-time World Series Champion Miguel Rojas and MLB All-Star Ernie Clement of the Toronto Blue Jays will serve as World Series Correspondents during the 2026 World Series presented by Capital One, featuring the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays.
Tolle will be the correspondent for Media Day and Game One in Milwaukee. He will appear on MLB Network, produce content across @MLB social media channels and offer a player’s perspective on the matchup between the Brewers and Rays. During Players’ Weekend, Tolle drew attention for the “You’re So Pretty” inscription on his glove, a tribute to his late mother. This season he also set career highs in wins (9), ERA (3.03), innings pitched (148.2) and strikeouts (171), marketing the most strikeouts by a Red Sox pitcher aged 23 or younger since Roger Clemens in 1986.
Rojas will also attend Media Day and Game One working closely with MLB Español to provide Spanish-language coverage. The Venezuelan infielder will interview some of the top coaches and players from both Clubs. In 2026, Rojas wrapped up his 13-year Major League career with a .267 batting average and 4 home runs. He also became one of only two players in history to claim a prestigious team spirit award three times for his leadership, sportsmanship and dedication to his teammates.
Clement will serve as a correspondent for Games Three and Four when the series shifts to Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, providing player-first coverage and creating content across @MLB’s social media channels. Riding the momentum of a historic 2025 postseason record (30 hits), Clement started 2026 hitting nearly .300 through July and earned his first career MLB All-Star selection as the starting American League second baseman for the 2026 All-Star Game.
Established in 2021, the World Series Correspondent Program provides players with the opportunity to be featured across MLB’s digital media platforms, showcase their personalities and give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the World Series through exclusive interviews with players, coaches and celebrities.
Past correspondents include Lawrence Butler, Junior Caminero and Vinnie Pasquantino (2025); Ozzie Albies, Luis Arráez and Brent Rooker (2024); Mookie Betts and Willy Adames (2023); Triston McKenzie (2022); and Brett Phillips (2021).
