Phillies sign Aidan Miller

The Phillies have signed infielder Aidan Miller, selected No. 27 overall in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft, the club announced today.

Miller, 19, batted .385 (72-187) with 15 doubles, seven triples, eight home runs, 47 RBI, 36 stolen bases, 44 walks and a 1.176 OPS in 62 games at J.W. Mitchell High School in Florida. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Miller was named MVP of the 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic and was ranked the sixth overall high school prospect and the second overall high school shortstop by Perfect Game.
