Pirates announce updated 2022 regular season schedule

The Pittsburgh Pirates today released their updated regular season schedule for the 2022 season.

Pittsburgh’s originally-scheduled season-opening three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals from March 31 through April 3 will now take place from October 3-5 at PNC Park.

The Pirates will also make up a three-game series against the Reds at Great American Ball Park with a split doubleheader on May 7, a single game on July 7 and a split doubleheader at Great American Ball Park on September 13.

The updated schedule is as follows:
