Rays host Nationals, Orioles in five-game homestand

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field tomorrow for a two-team, five-game homestand against the Washington Nationals (June 8-9) and Baltimore Orioles (June 11-13). The 2021 Rays season is presented by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Tuesday, June 8 vs. Washington Nationals

• First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
• Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays recognize a child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Children’s Dream Fund as a part of the “Tuesday’s Champion” program presented by RIPA & Associates. The Rays will recognize 7-year-old Kinsley Peacock from the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a virtual first pitch.

Wednesday, June 9 vs. Washington Nationals

• First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
• The Ray Tank: Presented by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Ray Tank will welcome back stingrays for the remainder of 2021 season and the Touch Experience will open to fans on June 22.

Friday, June 11 vs. Baltimore Orioles

• First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.

Saturday, June 12 vs. Baltimore Orioles

• First Pitch: 4:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 2:40 p.m.

Sunday, June 13 vs. Baltimore Orioles

• First Pitch: 1:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 11:40 a.m.
• Promotion: Raymond Jersey Keychain presented by Crown Automotive Group. Available for fans 14 years and under while supplies last.

June Home Game Information

• With vaccination rates increasing across Florida and continued health and safety protocols in place at Tropicana Field, capacity at the ballpark will increase to approximately 20,000 fans. Full capacity seating will be available in Sections 101-149, the Rays Club, the Louisiana Hot Sauce Left Field Ledge and the GTE Financial Party Deck. Socially distanced seating will continue in sections 203-224 and will be sold in socially distant seating pods in increments of one to six.

In partnership with Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, the Rays have worked with Major League Baseball and local public health officials to increase health measures and create a safe and enjoyable experience while at the ballpark. Per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, masks are optional at Tropicana Field for guests fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
