Red Sox option left-handed pitcher Chris Murphy to Triple-A Worcester

BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today optioned left-handed pitcher Chris Murphy to Triple-A Worcester.

Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom made the announcement.

With today’s roster move, the Red Sox have 50 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp, including 15 non-roster invitees.
