Red Sox to celebrate city's "All Inclusive Boston" culture and tourism campaign August 13 at Fenway Park

BOSTON, MA- The Red Sox are highlighting the City of Boston’s efforts to renew and reimagine how Boston is perceived locally and across the globe and will celebrate the city’s culture and tourism campaign, _All Inclusive Boston_, in ceremonies before the Red Sox-Yankees game on August 13. In addition to the pregame ceremony, the club has partnered with the city on the next phase of the campaign, which will feature images from Fenway Park’s cultural heritage nights alongside other Boston events, landmarks, neighborhoods, and residents.

“Thank you to the Red Sox for partnering with us in this campaign and helping us promote all that Boston has to offer,” said Mayor Michelle Wu. “We are proud to be a diverse city full of rich cultures and vibrant neighborhoods that can be enjoyed by everyone who visits and expanding the All Inclusive campaign has also given us the opportunity to highlight many small businesses and local attractions.”

The August 13 pregame ceremony will include representatives from groups involved with the creation and oversight of All Inclusive Boston, including the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the two minority-owned businesses responsible for the creation and execution of the video campaign, Colette Phillips Communications, Inc. and Proverb.

“Since launching the All Inclusive Boston Campaign, the Red Sox has been a critical partner in our efforts to reignite our local economy and uplift the diversity of our tourism and hospitality industry,” said Colette Phillips, President and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications. “I want to applaud their efforts throughout the summer to celebrate the many cultures and rich diversity that Boston represents through their Heritage Nights at Fenway Park. I am grateful for their continued partnership to build a truly inclusive and equitable Boston.”

Over the past decade, the Red Sox have celebrated a variety of diverse groups, cultures, and traditions at Fenway Park through heritage and theme nights, including Asian American Pacific Islander night, Pride night, Juneteenth, Greek heritage night, Disability Awareness night, and Puerto Rican heritage night, and Dominican heritage night. Images celebrating these rich cultures and communities at Fenway Park will be featured in the next phase of the All Inclusive Boston campaign slated to debut later this year.

“We have been on a 20-year journey to make Fenway Park an inclusive place where everyone feels welcome, and through our group and heritage nights we have sought to celebrate the rich diversity we see throughout our Boston community,” said Red Sox President & CEO Sam Kennedy. “We are thrilled to partner with Mayor Wu, Colette, and the entire city on this important campaign, and look forward to having Fenway Park highlighted as one of the many places in our city where people of all backgrounds come together and are celebrated.”

All Inclusive Boston was launched in April 2021 to promote the city’s equitable recovery from the pandemic. The campaign is anchored by a video showcasing Boston’s diversity, which was updated and relaunched last spring. A new iteration of the video campaign slated to debut later this year will include imagery of Fenway Park.
