Rivalry Weekend Presented by Booking.com Returns for Second Consecutive Season Across MLB This Weekend

The second annual “Rivalry Weekend” presented by Booking.com will take place throughout Major League Baseball this weekend. Rivalry Weekend, which debuted in 2025, features 11 series between prime Interleague rivals and four other regional matchups.

Rivalry Weekend will officially begin on Friday as the Pittsburgh Pirates welcome their intrastate rival Philadelphia Phillies to PNC Park in Pittsburgh at 6:40 p.m. (ET). As part of this week’s Friday Night Baseball doubleheader, Apple TV will exclusively air Friday’s matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays at Comerica Park at 6:45 p.m. (ET), as well as the “Subway Series” between the New York Mets and New York Yankees at Citi Field at 7:15 p.m. (ET).

On Saturday, FOX will carry regional coverage of the “Subway Series” at 7:15 p.m. (ET) and the “Vedder Cup” matchup between the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres at T-Mobile Park in Seattle at 7:15 p.m. (ET)/4:15 p.m. (PT). MLB Network will air the “Freeway Series” matchup between the Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers at Angel Stadium in Anaheim at 9:40 p.m. (ET)/6:40 p.m. (PT).

On Sunday, Peacock will exclusively broadcast the series finale between the Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins at Tropicana Field at 12:15 p.m. (ET), MLB Network will air the Athletics and San Francisco Giants in Sacramento at 4:05 p.m. (ET)/1:05 p.m. (PT), and Rivalry Weekend will conclude on Peacock on Sunday night with the finale of the “Vedder Cup” in Seattle at 7:20 p.m. (ET)/4:20 p.m. (PT).

MLB today launched a new multimedia spot for its Rivalry Weekend campaign, “This One’s Personal,” which will air across broadcast, cable, streaming, digital and social media platforms. The spot, which features DMX’s “X Gon' Give It To Ya,” showcases the passion, intensity and emotion that rivalry matchups bring out of baseball fans, alongside some of the league’s top stars, including Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Mike Trout.
