Colorado Rockies to honor Hall of Famer Larry Walker with Walker Weekend at Coors Field
DENVER – Beginning this Friday and throughout the weekend the Colorado Rockies will honor Hall of Famer Larry Walker at Coors Field. A full schedule of the events can be found below.
Friday, Sept. 24: Walker Weekend Fireworks
- 6:10 p.m. - First pitch vs. the San Francisco Giants
- Larry Walker Weekend Fireworks, presented by T-Mobile following the game
Saturday, Sept. 25: Larry Walker #33 Retirement & Hall of Fame Induction Celebration
5:30 p.m. - Onfield ceremony featuring speeches, fireworks, the ceremonial first pitch and an unveil of #33 on the outfield wall
6:10 p.m. - First pitch vs. the San Francisco Giants
Fans have the opportunity to take photos with Walker’s actual Hall of Fame plaque - which is making a one-day visit away from Cooperstown - in an area just off the main concourse in centerfield, from just after the onfield ceremonies until 8 p.m.
Promotional item - All fans entering the ballpark will receive a Larry Walker Hall of Fame Bobblehead, presented by King Soopers.
Sunday, Sept. 26: #33 Lapel Pin
- Pregame promotional item - The first 15,000 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a #33 Commemorative Lapel Pin, presented by King Soopers.
- 1:10 p.m. - First pitch vs. the San Francisco Giants
