Royals host 'urgent need' blood drive tomorrow

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 2, 2020) -- The Kansas City Royals will host a blood drive through the Community Blood Center at Kauffman Stadium tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3. The CBC reports the local blood supply is dangerously low.

The blood drive will be held in the Royals Hall of Fame from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donors are asked to wear a face mask, or one will be provided to them upon arrival. Appointments are strongly encouraged and walk-ins will only be accepted if capacity allows. Appointments can be made online at savealifenow.org/group with Group Code: EG8Y, or by calling 1-877-468-6844. Donors should park in Lot J of the sports complex on the west side of the stadium and walk to Gate A. Temperature checks will be administered for all donors.
