Dodgers to host Giants and Rockies next week at Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers open the season’s second half tonight in Denver and will return home Monday for a seven-game homestand against the San Francisco Giants (July 19-22) and Colorado Rockies (July 23-25).

The Giants series will be a matchup of baseball’s top two teams and include popular promotions with Walker Buehler Bobblehead Night presented by 76 on Monday, Star Wars Night Wednesday and a short-sleeved hooded shirt giveaway presented by San Manuel Casino Thursday. Star Wars characters will greet fans at stadium gates on Wednesday night and those that purchase the special event ticket pack at Dodgers.com/StarWars will receive an Orel-Wan Kenobi bobblehead.

The Rockies series will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1981 World Championship presented by Bank of America, with team members signing autographs in the Centerfield Plaza prior Friday and Saturday’s games and being honored during pregame ceremonies on Sunday, when tickets start at the special anniversary price of $19.81. Mark Bradley, Ron Cey, Mark Cresse, Pepe Frias, Steve Garvey, Pedro Guerrero, Burt Hooton, Ken Landreaux, Candy Maldonado, Rick Monday, Manny Mota, Tom Niedenfuer, Alejandro Pena, Jerry Reuss, Ron Roenicke, Bill Russell, Steve Sax, Derrel Thomas, Fernando Valenzuela and Steve Yeager are expected to attend this weekend’s reunion. The series will also include Friday Night Fireworks presented by 76 and pre- and post-game events Sunday, with Viva Los Dodgers presented by Spectrum and Coca-Cola in the Centerfield Plaza and Kids Run the Bases.

In accordance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health order (effective July 18, 2021), all individuals ages two and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask or an appropriate face covering while in indoor settings, such as retail stores and restaurants, except while seated and actively eating or drinking. Indoor settings also include covered stadium concourses and concession stands. Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a face covering while seated in their ticketed seats.

The team will once again host a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic, which will be located on the Left Field Reserve this homestand. Ticketholders that receive their vaccine will receive a voucher for two tickets to a future 2021 home game while supplies last.
