Texas Rangers Announce 2027 Regular Season Schedule

Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers will open the 2027 regular season with road series in Houston and Seattle before
hosting the Athletics in the club’s home opener on Thursday, April 1. The complete 2027 schedule was announced today
by Major League Baseball.

The Rangers’ season opener on March 25 at Houston will be the earliest game date in franchise history. This will be the
24th time in 56 seasons that the Rangers have opened on the road, just the fourth time in the last 12 years it has happened, with all four occurring in a seven-year span (2021-2027). The club is scheduled for a unique season-opening series, playing at Houston from Thursday, March 25 through Saturday, March 27, before on off day on Sunday, March 28 (Easter Sunday). This will be the third time the Rangers have opened a season against the Astros (2013, 2018), and the second time that the club has opened in Houston (2013).

Following a season-opening six-game road trip to Houston and Seattle, the Rangers return to Arlington for a seven-game
homestand at Globe Life Field against the Athletics (April 1-4) and Tampa Bay (April 6-8). The home opener on Thursday,
April 1 will give the Rangers an A.L. West Division opponent in their first home game for the first time since 2018 and second time in the last ten seasons.

The 2027 season will be the fifth consecutive season in which Major League Baseball has utilized a balanced schedule for all 30 clubs. As a result, the Rangers 2027 schedule will feature the following:

Division Games: 52 total games (26 at home and 26 on the road) against four A.L. West Division opponents. That will
include 13 games each versus the Athletics, Houston, Los Angeles Angels, and Seattle.

Intraleague Games: 62 total games (31 at home and 31 on the road) against the other ten American League teams. The
Rangers will play seven games each against both Kansas City and Tampa Bay, and six games apiece versus Baltimore,
Boston, Chicago-AL, Cleveland, Detroit, Minnesota, New York-AL, and Toronto.

Interleague Games: 48 total games (24 games at home and 24 on the road) against the 15 National League teams. Texas
will once again meet Arizona six times in a pair of home and home three-game series and the remaining 14 N.L. clubs three times each. The Rangers will host three-game series with Atlanta, Colorado, Los Angeles-NL, Miami, Milwaukee,
Philadelphia, and St. Louis and play three-game road sets at Chicago-NL, Cincinnati, New York-NL, Pittsburgh, San Diego,
San Francisco, and Washington.

Texas closes the 2027 regular season with a six game homestand against Miami and Milwaukee.

Game times for the 2027 schedule will be announced at a later date.
