Texas Rangers host Houston Astros & Oakland A’s in seven-game homestand April 5-11

Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Field tomorrow, Friday, April 5, for a seven-day homestand against the Houston Astros and the Oakland Athletics.

The homestand opens with the Silver Boot Series, presented by Texas Lottery. The Rangers and Astros will face off in a four-game series, marking the first time the division rivals will compete since Texas defeated Houston in the 2023 American League Championship Series. Games will be played on Friday, April 5, at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, April 6, at 6:05 p.m., Sunday, April 7, and 6:10 p.m., and Monday, April 8, at 7:05 p.m. Ticket inventory for Saturday evening’s game versus the Astros is extremely limited.

The homestand will continue with a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics with games played on Tuesday, April 9, at 7:05 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, at 7:05 p.m., and Thursday, April 11, at 1:35 p.m.

Tickets for all Rangers home games during the 2024 season can be purchased at rangers.com, by phone at 972-RANGERS, or at Globe Life Field’s Southeast Box Office.

Globe Life Field’s newest concessions addition and Texas staple, Whataburger, will serve its first customers when the stand officially opens on Friday. Located near Section 105, the ballpark outpost will feature many of the beloved brand's classic menu items, including the #1 Whataburger and Whataburger's golden french fries, crispy onion rings, and creamy shakes.

Fans may now shop the exclusive collection of commemorative World Series jewelry, accessories, and other keepsakes designed in collaboration with Jason of Beverly Hills, which are available across all price points. Guests who attended last Thursday’s Opening Day celebration can purchase a customizable souvenir ticket to commemorate the historic day in which the team unveiled its first-ever World Series Championship banner before defeating the Cubs 4-3 in extra innings.
