Tickets for Texas Rangers home opener on Monday, April 11 versus Colorado now on sale

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers today announced that individual tickets for the 2022 home opener on Monday, April 11 are now on sale at texasrangers.com, by phone at 972.RANGERS, or at the Southeast Box Office at Globe Life Field, which is located off Stadium Drive on the east side of the park.

The Globe Life Field Southeast Box Office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The Rangers will face the Colorado Rockies in their 51st home opener and third at Globe Life Field at 3:05 p.m. on April 11. The Globe Life Field parking lots open at 10:00 a.m. with the ballpark gates opening at 12 noon. The full schedule of pre-game ceremonies for the April 11 home opener will be announced next week.

Texas will play a three-game series in Toronto to begin the 2022 regular season, Friday, April 8 at 6:07 p.m. CT, Saturday, April 9 at 2:07 p.m. CT, and Sunday, April 10 at 12:37 p.m. CT. The Rangers then return to Texas for a six-game homestand with Colorado and the Los Angeles Angels. The Rangers and Rockies conclude their two-game series on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:05 before the Angels come to Globe Life Field for games on Thursday and Friday, April 14-15 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at 6:05 p.m., and Sunday, April 17 at 1:35 p.m.

On Friday, April 15, the Rangers will celebrate two historic milestones, the 75th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking Major League Baseball’s color barrier on April 15, 1947 and the 50th Anniversary of the club’s first game as the Texas Rangers on April 15, 1972 at California. Full details of the ceremonies will be announced at a later date.
