Tonight's Yankees-White Sox game (Wednesday, June 7) rescheduled  because of poor air quality due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires

The New York Yankees have announced that tonight’s Yankees-White Sox game (Wednesday, June 7) will not be played because of poor air quality due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

The game will be made up tomorrow, Thursday, June 8 as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin at 4:05 p.m. The second game will start no earlier than 7:05 p.m. If the first game ends later than 6:35 p.m., Game 2 would start approximately 30 minutes after the end of Game 1.

On Thursday, all Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 3:00 p.m.
