Twins announce free 'Postseason Push' viewing parties around Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – With the first-place Minnesota Twins closing in on their first American League Central Division championship since 2010, the club today announced a weeklong series of free “Postseason Push” viewing parties. Held each day at iconic Twin Cities locations, fans can gather to watch the FOX Sports North broadcast on a big screen for all six games during the Twins’ final regular season roadtrip, engage with interactive elements and, hopefully, celebrate an AL Central title together. While the events are free, fans are encouraged to sign up beforehand at twinsbaseball.com/viewingparties.

In addition to the game itself, viewing parties will include appearances by Twins mascot TC Bear, photo opportunities with both the Bomba Counter and the replica bomb trophy presented to the team’s famed 2019 “Bomba Squad,” interactive yard games, and various other programs and contests. WCCO will also have a presence, with a tent and fan giveaways.

“Our fans have stood strong with us since Opening Day, and now, thanks to the generosity of our partners with the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, along with the Mall of America, we can bring Twins fans together to engage with the club as we make our final postseason push,” said team President & CEO Dave St. Peter.

The Twins, who are enjoying an off-day in Detroit, hold a 4.0-game lead in the AL Central and a magic number of three to clinch the Division crown.
