Umpires announced for 2025 All-Star Game presented by Mastercard
Dan Iassogna, who joined the Major League staff in 2004 and was appointed a crew chief ahead of the 2020 season, will serve as the Crew Chief and work behind the plate at Baseball’s 95th All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on Tuesday, July 15th at Truist Park in Atlanta.
Iassogna will work his second Midsummer Classic following his 2011 assignment in Arizona. The University of Connecticut graduate has worked three World Series, eight League Championship Series and seven Division Series, and currently ranks third among active umpires with 94 Postseason games worked. Iassogna’s crew will include Georgia native and regular season Crew Chief Marvin Hudson (first base), Chris Segal (second base), Jansen Visconti (third base), Jeremie Rehak (left field) and Erich Bacchus (right field). This will mark the second career All-Star assignment for Hudson (2004), and the first for Segal, Visconti, Rehak and Bacchus. The Replay Official who will be based in the Replay Operations Center during the 2025 All-Star Game will be veteran umpire Tony Randazzo, who worked the 2001 All-Star Game in Seattle and the 2012 All-Star Game in Kansas City.
The Minor League Baseball umpires who will work the All-Star Futures Game at Truist Park on Saturday, July 12th are Triple-A Umpire Charlie Welling (home plate); Double-A Umpire Elliott Melton (first base); Triple-A Umpire Bryan Van Vranken (second base); and Double-A Umpire Jared Duerson (third base). All four umpires will also be on the field for Saturday’s High School Home Run Derby and Monday’s T-Mobile Home Run Derby, while Melton and Duerson will be a part of Saturday’s All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by GEICO.
The 95th Midsummer Classic will be televised nationally by FOX Sports; in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and TDA Sports; and worldwide by partners in more than 200 countries. FOX Deportes will provide Spanish language coverage in the United States. ESPN Radio will provide exclusive national radio coverage of the All-Star Game, while Univision will provide Spanish language coverage on radio.
