Umpires announced for 2026 All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard
Alan Porter, who joined the Major League staff in 2013 and was appointed a Crew Chief ahead of the 2023 season, will serve as the Crew Chief and work behind the plate at Baseball’s 96th All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on Tuesday, July 14th at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
Porter will work his second Midsummer Classic following his 2015 assignment in Cincinnati. The Pennsylvania native has worked three World Series (2019, 2022 & 2025), four League Championship Series, seven Division Series and five Wild Card Series. Porter’s crew will include regular season Crew Chief Chris Conroy (first base); Chad Whitson (second base); Ryan Additon (third base); Adam Beck (left field); and Edwin Moscoso (right field). This will mark the second career All-Star assignment for Conroy (2017) and the first for Additon, Beck, Moscoso and Whitson. The Replay Official who will be based in the Replay Operations Center during the 2026 All-Star Game will be regular season Crew Chief Vic Carapazza, who previously worked the 2014 All-Star Game in Minnesota.
The Minor League Baseball umpires who will work the All-Star Futures Game at Citizens Bank Park on Sunday, July 12th are Triple-A Umpire Alex Shears (home plate); Double-A Umpire Tyler Hovick (first base); Triple-A Umpire Dereck Pacheco (second base); and Double-A Umpire Shane Sullivan (third base). All four umpires will also be on the field for Sunday’s MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3 and Monday’s T-Mobile Home Run Derby.
The 96th Midsummer Classic will be televised nationally by FOX Sports; in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and TVA Sports; and worldwide by partners in more than 200 countries. FOX Deportes will provide Spanish language coverage in the United States. ESPN Radio will provide exclusive national radio coverage of the All-Star Game, while Univision will provide Spanish language coverage on radio.
