Update on Astros coach Gary Pettis

HOUSTON, TX - Astros third base coach Gary Pettis has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He will miss the rest of the 2020 season, but is expected to make a full recovery. Pettis last coached third base in a game for the Astros on September 15 before being sidelined with hip discomfort. Tests conducted to find out the cause of the discomfort led to the diagnosis of multiple myeloma.
