White Sox announce return of Beyond the Diamond Gala June 9 supporting White Sox Charities
CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox today announced the return of its signature gala-style fundraiser, _Beyond the Diamond_, presented by Peoples Gas and Wintrust, on Thursday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at the Field Museum.
Following a hiatus that included a virtual and livestreamed Beyond the Diamond at Home due to the pandemic, the event benefits Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) and is attended by White Sox players, coaches and alumni. Table packages and individual tickets as well as registration details are available now at whitesox.com/diamond.
“Beyond the Diamond is certainly lining up to be an evening of celebration as we bring together our White Sox family of fans, partners and supporters in one place,” said CWSC executive director Christine O’Reilly. “We’ve always been humbled by our fans’ unwavering support of White Sox Charities. We truly cannot wait for a fun and unforgettable evening that helps raise funds and supports a shared commitment to making Chicago a better place to live, work and play.”
In addition to remarks from White Sox manager Tony La Russa and guest appearances from current and former fan-favorite White Sox stars, Pat McGann, a nationally renowned stand-up comedian from Chicago’s South Side, is scheduled to serve as the host of the event’s program.
