White Sox announce seven roster moves

The Chicago White Sox have purchased the contracts of the following seven players:

• Right-handed pitchers Zack Burdi, Dane Dunning, Matt Foster and Jimmy Lambert;
• Left-handed pitcher Bernardo Flores Jr.;
• Catcher Yermín Mercedes;
• Outfielder Blake Rutherford.

Five of the seven players are ranked in the White Sox Top 30 prospects according to MLB.com: Dunning (No. 5), Rutherford (No. 9), Lambert (No. 18), Burdi (No. 23) and Flores Jr. (No. 28).

Following the moves, the White Sox 40-man roster increases to 40.
