White Sox make four roster moves

CHICAGO – Prior to tomorrow’s series opener at Toronto, the Chicago White Sox made the following four roster moves:

· Placed RHPs Dylan Cease and Kendall Graveman on the Restricted List;

· Recalled RHP Kyle Crick from Class AAA Charlotte;

· Placed LHP Dallas Keuchel on waivers for the purpose of granting his unconditional release.

Cease, 26, has gone 4-2 with a 3.69 ERA (22 ER/53.2 IP) and 76 strikeouts over 10 starts in 2022. He leads the American League in strikeouts per 9.0 IP (12.75) and ranks second in strikeouts.

Graveman, 31, is 1-1 with a 2.78 ERA (7 ER/22.2 IP), 19 strikeouts, two saves and 10 holds this season, his first with the White Sox.

Crick, 29, is 1-0 with a 5.14 ERA (4 ER/7.0 IP) over eight relief appearances this season, also his first with the Sox.

Keuchel, 34, was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Friday.
