White Sox reinstate Jace Fry from paternity list

CHICAGO -- Prior to today’s game vs. Texas, the Chicago White Sox reinstated left-handed pitcher Jace Fry from the paternity list.

Fry, 26, takes the roster spot of right-hander José Ruiz, who was optioned to Class AAA Charlotte following last night’s game.

He has gone 2-4 with a 5.01 ERA (23 ER/41.1 IP), 50 strikeouts and 11 holds in 53 appearances this season.
