Rangers to host Rays, Astros, & Mets during 8-game homestand, May 29-June 7

The Rangers return to Texas on Monday, May 29, to open an eight-game homestand at Globe Life Park in Arlington, hosting the Tampa Bay Rays, Houston Astros, and New York Mets from May 29 through June 7.
The Rays are in town for a three-game series Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
On Monday, the Rangers will commemorate Memorial Day with Army Appreciation night. The festivities will include 120 soldiers and veterans unfurling an American flag on the field during the National Anthem and a flyover by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. Brigadier General David C. Hill, who is the Commander and Division Engineer of the Southwestern Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that is headquartered in Dallas, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
Army Appreciation Night marks the first in a series of Military Appreciation Nights at Globe Life Park this season, as the Rangers will honor each branch of the United States Military.
The Rangers will join teams across MLB in donning special caps created by New Era and jerseys by Majestic to observe Memorial Day on Monday. The matching ensemble will include specialty socks and feature a new ripstop woodland camouflage design.
The Memorial Day festivities will also include a Carter BloodCare Patriotic Rangers Cap for the first 15,000 fans.
Tuesday marks the second Fox Sports Southwest University Night with the University of Oklahoma on hand. Then the series with the Rays concludes Wednesday with Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Night and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday.
The division-rival Astros and Rangers square off in the Silver Boot Series presented by The Texas Lottery on Friday, June 2, at 7:05 p.m.; Saturday, June 3, at 6:15 p.m.; and Sunday, June 4, at 2:05 p.m. The Texas Lottery Superhero Friday Fireworks will follow Friday's game.
