Rays Announce 2017 Postgame Concert Acts

The Tampa Bay Rays have announced two postgame concerts at Tropicana Field for 2017: Sabrina Carpenter and Lauren Alaina. Each concert is free with the purchase of that date's game ticket and will begin immediately following the conclusion of the game. In addition to their game tickets, fans can watch the various acts from the field by purchasing field access passes available at raysbaseball.com/concerts.
Sabrina Carpenter will perform on Sunday, June 25 following the Rays 1:10 p.m. game against the Baltimore Orioles. The 17-year-old singer, songwriter and actress landed her first acting role as a guest star on Law & Order SVU in 2011, before booking a series recurring role on FOX's The Goodwin Games and a series regular role in the Disney Chanel series Girl Meets World. Staying true to her first love of music, Carpenter released her debut album Eyes Wide Open at the age of 15 in April 2015. For her sophomore album, EVOLution, which was released in October 2016, Carpenter co-wrote tracks on the album, and embarked on her first-ever sold out headline EVOLution Tour, traveling across 35-plus cities in the United States.
Lauren Alaina will take the stage following the Sunday, July 9 game against the Boston Red Sox, which begins at 1:10 p.m. The Georgia native captured America's hearts when she was named runner-up on Season 10 of American Idol in 2011. Alaina followed up her No. 1 debut album with the release of the eagerly-awaited Road Less Traveled in January 2017. Selected as one of Rolling Stone's Most Anticipated Albums of 2017, the collection of 12 songs all written by the young star, includes Lauren's first Top 10 hit and title track, "Road Less Traveled." Hailed as a "sassy Southerner with killer pipes" by PARADE, Alaina is currently on the Love Unleashed Tour with Martina McBride and Lauren heads out on the Huntin', Fishin', And Lovin' Every Day Tour with Luke Bryan this summer.
Tickets to these dates and all Rays home games are available online at raysbaseball.com, the Rays Tampa Store at 400 N. Tampa St., the Tropicana Field Box Office or by calling 888-FAN-RAYS.
