Red Sox Announce Roster Moves
BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:
The Red Sox will not tender 2026 contracts to infielder Nathaniel Lowe and right-handed pitcher Josh Winckowski. As a result, both players will become free agents.
The Red Sox will tender 2026 contracts to all 26 remaining unsigned players on their Major League roster. Fourteen players are already under contract for 2026: Roman Anthony, Brayan Bello, Kristian Campbell, Aroldis Chapman, Cooper Criswell, Garrett Crochet, Jarren Duran, Jordan Hicks, Ceddanne Rafaela, Patrick Sandoval, Trevor Story, Garrett Whitlock, Connor Wong, and Masataka Yoshida.
