Red Sox Select 16 Players on Final Day of 2026 MLB First-Year Player Draft

BOSTON, MA —The Boston Red Sox today concluded their participation in the 2026 MLB First-Year Player Draft with 16 additional selections in rounds 5-20.

Over the two days of the draft, Boston selected six right-handed pitchers, five left-handed pitchers, five shortstops, and three outfielders. Of the 19 players drafted, 13 are from college and six are from high school.
