Red Sox to Open 2027 Season March 25 in Seattle

BOSTON, MA – In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Boston Red Sox today announced their 2027 regular season schedule, which begins Thursday, March 25, in Seattle against the Mariners. This marks the second time in four seasons the Red Sox will open their season in Seattle. Boston's home opener is set for Thursday, April 1, against the Cincinnati Reds, their first visit to Fenway Park for a home opener.

Boston will host its annual Patriots' Day matchup Monday, April 19, concluding a four-game series against the Cleveland Guardians. On Sunday, July 4, the Red Sox will wrap up a three-game series with the Baltimore Orioles, marking the club's first home game on Independence Day since 2023 and only its fourth since 2016.

The Red Sox will host the New York Yankees for seven games in 2027, including four games in June (4-7) and three in August (6-8). Boston will travel to the Bronx for three-game series in June (11-13) and September (17-19).

Eight National League teams will travel to Boston in 2027, including the Los Angeles Dodgers (May 14-16). Additional NL clubs visiting Fenway Park include the Cincinnati Reds (April 1-4), St. Louis Cardinals (April 30 - May 2), Miami Marlins (June 8-10), Colorado Rockies (June 25-27), Atlanta Braves (July 16-18), New York Mets (July 19-21), and Pittsburgh Pirates (August 20-22).

The Red Sox will travel to the West Coast four times in 2027, beginning with the season-opening series against the Seattle Mariners (March 25-28). Boston will head back west for a six-game trip with stops in San Diego to face the Padres (May 28-30) and Anaheim to face the Angels (May 31-June 2). Another six-game trip follows later in June, with matchups against the Arizona Diamondbacks (June 18-20) and Athletics (June 21-23). The club will close out its West Coast travel in August with three games against the San Francisco Giants (August 24-26).

Boston will conclude its regular season with a six-game homestand against the Tampa Bay Rays (September 21-23) and Kansas City Royals (September 24-26).
