Royals homestand highlights April 26-May 2

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 24, 2019) – The Kansas City Royals will host the Los Angeles Angels (April 26-28) and Tampa Bay Rays (April 29-May 2). Fans can still purchase Theme Tickets for Teacher Appreciation Night (April 26), Wichita State Night (April 27), and Paint at the Park. Fans can also pick up a Royals-themed License Plater Holder (April 27) and experience the annual School Day at The K (May 2). See below for more details.

Friday, April 26 – Los Angeles Angels vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

Buck Night – Fans can get $1 hot dogs and peanuts, as well as $3 Pepsi products, courtesy of Heinz and Price Chopper.

Teacher Appreciation Night – The Royals are excited to host the first Teacher Appreciation Night of the 2019 season. Fans who purchase the Theme Ticket will receive a Royals-themed Teacher Appreciation Night cap (photo attached). Caps can be picked up as fans enter the stadium through Gate A in Left Field. Saturday, April 27 – Los Angeles Angels vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.

License Plate Holder – The first 10,000 fans will receive a Royals-themed license plate holder (photo attached), courtesy of Kansas City Steak Company.

Wichita State Night – Supporters of Wichita State University will join fellow Shocker fans for an evening of big-league action presented by FOX Sports Kansas City. Fans who purchase Theme Tickets for this event will receive a limited-edition KC Royals bucket hat featuring the WuShock logo and colors (photo attached). 610 Saturday – The Royals have again teamed up with Entercom and 610 Sports Radio for 610 Saturdays featuring live pregame broadcasts with 610 Sports Royals Insider Cody Tapp and special guests from the studio at Gate A in Left Field. Sunday, April 28 – Los Angeles Angels vs. Royals, 1:15 p.m.

Family FunDay Sunday – Sunday home games feature free pregame entertainment for kids, with this Sunday featuring face painters and balloon artists in the Outfield Experience. All Day Play passes for unlimited activities in the Outfield Experience can be purchased for $10. Fans also can get pregame autographs from select players by the Royals dugout from 11:45 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. Starting at 12:15 p.m., fans can also get autographs from Royals alumni in the Royals Hall of Fame. Monday, April 29 – Tampa Bay Rays vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

Bark at the Park – The Royals host the first Bark at the Park event of the season. Fans who purchase Theme Tickets will receive a human and canine game ticket (located in lower level left field corner) and a Royals LED light-up collar (photo attached). A $5 donation from the Theme Ticket purchase will benefit Humane Society of Greater KC through Royals Charities. Tuesday, April 30 – Tampa Bay Rays vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

Miller Lite Happy Hour – On Tuesday nights and other select games, fans can buy $3 Miller Lites from the time gates open until first pitch at the Miller Lite Fountain Bar and Blue Moon Tap Room (if not reserved by a group).

Wednesday, May 1 – Tampa Bay Rays vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

Boulevard Happy Hour – On Wednesdays, select Boulevard beers are just $4 at Craft & Draft and the Boulevard Radler Station in the Outfield Experience from the time gates open until first pitch.

Paint at the Park – Join us for an evening of Paint at The Park. Fans who purchase the Theme Ticket at www.royals.com/themetickets will be treated to a pregame paint class led by Pinot's Palette® in the Royals Hall of Fame Pavilion, featuring a retro Royals design!

Student Night presented by INK – Students can purchase View Reserved or Outfield Plaza (sections 250-252) tickets for just $8 for Wednesday home games! The $8 tickets are also available for purchase at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office with a valid high school or college ID or youth 14 years of age and under with an adult. Students can also enjoy food and beverage specials before and during the game: half-priced appetizers at Craft & Draft and Rivals Sports Bar and select $4 Boulevard beers at the Radler Stand and Craft & Draft before the game and $4 hot dogs and $4 sodas at select concession stands during the game.

Thursday, May 2 – Tampa Bay Rays vs. Royals, 1:15 p.m.

School Day at The K presented by FOX 4 and Price Chopper – The Royals, FOX 4 WDAF-TV and Price Chopper welcome students to Kauffman Stadium for the largest educational field trip in Kansas City. The event will feature an on-field weather and science demonstrations hosted by Fox 4 meteorologist Garry Frank and his team.
