Schwarber’s Block Party & Auction Benefiting First Responders and Military Families Returns May 20 at Union Transfer
Schwarber’s Block Party returns Wednesday, May 20, 2026 — and it’s bigger than ever! Hosted by Kyle and Paige Schwarber, the sold-out event will take place (following that afternoon’s game) at the Union Transfer for an unforgettable evening honoring first responders and military families as part of the Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes cause.
The evening features a special welcome by Kyle and Paige Schwarber, along with Off the Mound, an entertaining variety show blending comedy, interviews and storytelling, hosted by MLB Network analyst and former World Series champion Ryan Dempster. Also appearing will be James Murray, best known as “Murr” from Impractical Jokers, along with Schwarber’s Phillies teammates, other athletes and notable guests. Highlights include a surprise musical performance by a well-known nationally touring artist.
In addition, Schwarber’s Block Party will feature both live and silent auctions, with fans at home also able to bid on incredible experiences, sports memorabilia and more – all to benefit the cause – now through May 20 at 9:30 p.m.
Dozens of items will be up for bid, including a:
- Kyle Schwarber autographed team-issued helmet
- Taylor Swift Signature Eras piece
- 2026 Phillies team autographed home plate
- Poker Masterclass and dinner
- Signed Saquon Barkley jersey
- Signed Garnet Hathaway hockey stick
- And more!
Proceeds from the event will support Philadelphia-area first responders, military personnel and their families. Funds will provide grants to nonprofit partners and support meaningful experiences such as game-day appreciation events and community visits. Beneficiaries include: Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, Fort Freedom, The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation, The Philadelphia Police Foundation, TAPS and Team Foster.
About Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes:
Kyle Schwarber grew up in a family deeply rooted in public service – his father is a retired police chief, his mother served as a police dispatcher, and his sister currently works in law enforcement.
In 2017, Kyle and Paige Schwarber started Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes to express gratitude for the unique sacrifices made by first responders and their families. The program creates positive experiences while funding wellness, education and critical needs for first responders, military personnel and their families.
Since its inception, Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes has distributed nearly $920,000 in support of heroes and their families.
