Texas Rangers Thanksgiving distribution takes place at Youth Academy in West Dallas
The Texas Rangers and The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will help approximately 200 West Dallas families fill their Thanksgiving tables by donating turkeys, sides, and desserts to prepare for the holiday tonight, Friday, November 22 at the Texas Rangers Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, Presented by Toyota, in West Dallas.
Texas Rangers players Joey Gallo, Nomar Mazara, Taylor Hearn, and Jeffrey Springs will be on hand to participate in the distribution.
The event will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with Gallo, Mazara, Hearn, and Springs scheduled to be on hand from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Power 2 Change Foundation, Buckner Children and Family Services, Kroger, Coca-Cola, and Pro Financial Services join the Rangers Baseball Foundation in donating the turkeys and other Thanksgiving meal ingredients to families selected by Buckner Children and Family Services and the Dallas Housing Authority.
Fall RBI
The fall RBI season is nearing the home stretch, as the Academy’s fall RBI league has hosted eight softball teams.

City of Dallas Parks and Recreation is facilitating the fall RBI baseball league, with support from the Academy in providing uniforms for the athletes.

The Academy’s fall programming wrapped up on Thursday, November 21, but athletes will still have an opportunity to access the facility.
The Rougned Odor Weight Room will be available Monday through Thursday between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, December 2 by registering in advance at rangers.com/academy.
