Texas Rangers Youth Academy sends three teams to 2026 Nike RBI Regionals

The Texas Rangers Youth Academy is set to compete at the 2026 Nike RBI Southwest Regionals beginning on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Houston. The Youth Academy is represented by teams in all three divisions: 15U junior baseball, 18U senior baseball and 18U softball.
The Academy will compete against teams from across the region in a two-day pool play on Sunday and Monday, following which the best two teams in each division will advance to Tuesday’s championship games. The games will be played at Cy-Fair High School, Cy-Woods High School and at the Astros Youth Academy fields.
During the 2025 NIKE RBI Regionals all teams from the Academy advanced to the championship games.

Rangers alumni Shawn Tolleson visits ‘Angles in the Outfield STEM Camp’ presented by Lockheed Martin
- What is it: The ‘Angles in the Outfield’ STEM Camp presented by Lockheed Martin is a summer program hosted that introduces middle schoolers to STEM curriculum through the lens of baseball and softball. The five-day program focuses on teaching middle school students about STEM, while making connections to Lockheed Martin employees and career paths.
- Who it is: Shawn Tolleson, former Texas Rangers pitcher (2014-16), visited the Youth Academy on Tuesday, July 14 as part of the camp. Tolleson spoke to student-athletes about the ways STEM impacted his career as he shared his story about his transition from youth baseball to the Major Leagues.
