Twins Reinstate Culpepper From the 10-Day Injured List

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated infielder Kaelen Culpepper from the 10-day Injured List.

Culpepper, who was placed on the IL with a left hamstring strain on September 16, has hit .275 (30-for-109) with five doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, six walks, one stolen base, 15 runs scored and a .737 OPS in 31 games for the Twins.

To make room for Culpepper on the 28-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Jeff Hoffman on the 15-day Injured List (retroactive to September 23) with right forearm inflammation. Hoffman was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays at the trade deadline and went 0-1 with a 2.50 ERA (18.0 IP, 5 ER), 12 walks, 27 strikeouts, one save and 10 holds in 20 games for the Twins after his acquisition.
