Twins select 39 players in 2018 MLB Draft

Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have completed the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. The Twins finished the draft on the third day selecting 30 players in rounds 11-40. In all, the Twins selected 15 right-handed pitchers, five left-handed pitchers, six infielders, nine outfielders and four catchers. Of the 39 total players selected, 30 were drafted out of college and nine out of high school. Additionally, the Twins selected one player from Minnesota in right-handed pitcher Seth Halvorsen from Heritage Christian High School in Maple Grove in the 30th round.
