White Sox annual Family Field Day and Garage Sale on May 14

The White Sox invite fans to experience U.S. Cellular Field from a player's perspective at the 13th annual Family Field Day and Garage Sale on Saturday, May 14, at U.S. Cellular Field.

This White Sox Charities fundraiser gives fans the opportunity to play catch on the outfield grass, visit the dugouts and bullpens, tour the White Sox clubhouse and receive complimentary pitching and hitting lessons from Bulls/Sox Academy instructors. All children's tickets include a complimentary whiffle ball and bat set as part of Major League Baseball's PLAY BALL initiative, which is focused on encouraging young fans to be active through baseball.

At Family Field Day, fans can take family photos at home plate, while additional photograph opportunities with White Sox greats Carlos May and Dan Pasqua are scheduled for select times.

This event coincides with the annual Garage Sale, where fans can purchase game-worn and team-issued items. This year's Garage Sale takes place in the Patio area and features turnstiles from Old Comiskey Park and U.S. Cellular Field, a Jose Abreu game-used bat, 2016 Spring Training jerseys featuring the popular batter logo and more. The Garage Sale is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Family Field Day tickets are available for $30 per adult and $12 per child (ages 13 and younger) at whitesoxcharities.org. Fans must select one of three sessions when purchasing tickets: 10:45 a.m., noon or 1:15 p.m. Clubhouse tours are available during each session for an additional fee. Tickets also will be available at the Gate 2 ticket window on the day of the event, pending availability.
