Yankees announce 2016 promotional schedule
The New York Yankees have announced the 2016 promotional schedule, which will include the 70th Old-Timers' Day presented by Ernst & Young (June 12), a 20th anniversary celebration of the 1996 World Series championship team (August 13) and the Mariano Rivera Monument Park plaque dedication ceremony (August 14). The schedule also features a range of classic promotional items along with a number of new giveaways.
Among this year's promotional schedule dates is the return of limited-edition collectible player bobbleheads, presented by AT&T. The set of four - Mickey Mantle Triple Crown on June 24, Didi Gregorius on August 7, Dellin Betances on September 10 and Roger Maris on October 1 - is the fourth series in a collection of Yankees bobbleheads. The Mantle bobblehead distribution comes 60 years after his 1956 Triple Crown-winning season, while the Maris bobblehead falls on the 55th anniversary of the outfielder hitting his 61st home run during the 1961 season to establish a then-Major League single-season home run record.
In addition, distribution of the Babe Ruth bobblehead, originally scheduled to be handed out on September 10, 2015, has been rescheduled for April 23. On each of the five bobblehead dates, the first 18,000 Guests in attendance will receive the select bobbleheads.
Other giveaways include Alex Rodriguez Replica Bat Day presented by Bank of America (May 14) and Cap Night (July 19 sponsored by Canon).
Military Appreciation Day will be held on July 23, with the first 18,000 Guests in attendance, aged 21 and older, receiving a Yankees Camo Baseball Cap. On August 27, W.B. Mason Collectible Truck Day continues with its 12thedition.
On September 8, Yankees Peanuts Bobblehead Night, presented by MetLife, returns for the fifth time, this year with Franklin.

Tickets for individual Yankees games at Yankee Stadium are available beginning, Monday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. at yankees.com and yankeesbeisbol.com, and via Ticketmaster phone only at (877) 469-9849 and Ticketmaster TTY at (800) 943-4327.
Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 23, tickets may be purchased at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office and all Ticket Offices located within Yankees Clubhouse Shops.
