The third annual edition of Spring Breakout, which takes place Thursday through Sunday, features hundreds of the top prospects from around the game. The rosters are stacked, highlighted by 55 players on MLB Pipeline's Top 100 Prospects list and more than 500 of the 900 players on organizational Top 30 lists. Fifteen No. 1 prospects are scheduled to participate, as are another 16 ranked No. 2 in their respective organizations.
Four of the top five prospects on the Top 100 list are slated to play, led by Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin (No. 1), Brewers infielder Jesús Made (No. 3), A's shortstop Leo De Vries (No. 4) and Cardinals infielder JJ Wetherholt (No. 5). Griffin will face No. 10 overall prospect Max Clark on Friday, while Made and De Vries -- two teenage Dominican phenoms -- will square off when the Brewers visit the Athletics on Sunday. Wetherholt, the No. 7 pick in the 2024 Draft, will lead the Cardinals against 2025 No. 1 overall pick Eli Willits (MLB No. 13) and the Nationals on Thursday.
For the second consecutive year, Seattle boasts the most Top 100 prospects on a roster with six. The Mariners, Dodgers and A's are all sending at least 20 of their Top 30 prospects, while all but four teams are sending at least half of their top 20. In total, players hail from 18 different countries and territories, including Colombia, Curaçao, Japan, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Slovakia and Spain.
All 16 contests will take place in the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues and will be streamed live and blackout-free on MLB’s digital platforms (MLB.com, MLB.TV and the MLB app) and partner platforms. Seven games will air live on MLB Network, with the other nine being shown on tape delay. The full schedule is here.

Blue Jays
JoJo Parker (TOR No. 2/MLB No. 45) will be the premier player to watch for Toronto. The 2025 No. 8 overall pick is on the Blue Jays' roster along with 2024 first-rounder Arjun Nimmala (TOR No. 3/MLB No. 77) to form a strong shortstop duo that could take center stage in the contest.
Orioles
Orioles fans enthralled by the club's 2025 Draft haul will get a chance to check out six of their top nine selections, while fast-rising Top 100 prospect Nate George (BAL No. 3/MLB No. 93) also will dig in. That's not to mention Vance Honeycutt -- he of the nearly unprecedented Grapefruit League home run streak -- who will be on the squad as well. More »
Rays
Five first-round picks (tied for the most of any club) headline Tampa Bay's perennially stacked Spring Breakout squad. Among them is Daniel Pierce (TB No. 5), the No. 14 pick in last year's Draft, who will be making his unofficial pro debut. The others include No. 63 overall prospect Carson Williams (2021), MLB No. 76 Theo Gillen (2024), Caden Bodine (2025) and Xavier Isaac (2022). More »
Red Sox
With an average age just over 21, the Red Sox boast the youngest roster of any team in the league. After fireworks from the "Big 3" of Roman Anthony, Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer last year, a new wave of offensive talent takes center stage in the form of Franklin Arias (BOS No. 2/MLB No. 31), Justin Gonzales (BOS No. 6) and Dorian Soto (BOS No. 8). The contest could also serve as our first pro look at 2025 first-rounder Kyson Witherspoon (BOS No. 4/MLB No. 84), who features four above-average-or-better pitches. More »
Yankees
A year ago, George Lombard Jr. (NYY No. 1/MLB No. 32) opened eyes in big league camp with his loud contact and slick fielding. It's been more of the same for the club's top prospect this spring and the showcase game will give him another opportunity to put his dynamic skill set on display. More »
AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL
Guardians
Thirteen of Cleveland’s top 20 prospects will be on hand for the showcase, including three members of the Top 100 Prospects list -- Angel Genao (CLE No. 3/MLB No. 66), Ralphy Velazquez (CLE No. 4/MLB No. 89) and Cooper Ingle (CLE No. 6/MLB No. 99). More »
Royals
Kansas City’s No. 5 prospect Sean Gamble will get his first taste of the pro game at Spring Breakout. The 23rd overall pick in the 2025 Draft was considered an athletic, toolsy hitter even before he showed up this spring with a leaner frame and more strength. More »
Tigers
Detroit sports the oldest contingent of players on a Spring Breakout roster, with three first-rounders among its 18 drafted prospects. Max Clark (DET No. 2/MLB No. 10) was taken third overall in 2023, Bryce Rainer (DET No. 3/MLB No. 35) went 11th overall in 2024 and Jordan Yost (DET No. 9) was 24th overall last year. The latter’s first pro plate appearance was a doozy too, as he launched a grand slam against the Yankees on Sunday. More »
Twins
It's something of a veteran-laden group this go-round with Minnesota fielding the second-oldest club by average age (23 years, four months). In addition to a trio of Top 100 prospects, there's also southpaw Dasan Hill (MIN No. 6) -- who recently hit 100 mph on the club's Minor League backfields -- who will run things back for his second consecutive Spring Breakout start on the bump. More »
White Sox
The White Sox have four Top 100 prospects heading to the showcase, capped off by the professional debut of Billy Carlson (CWS No. 5/MLB No. 73), who was taken 10th overall in last year’s Draft. Braden Montgomery (CWS No. 1/MLB No. 36), Caleb Bonemer (CWS No. 3/MLB No. 61) and Hagen Smith (CWS No. 4/MLB No. 72) round out the quartet.
AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST
Angels
The organization's lone Top 100 prospect will take the mound during the event. Tyler Bremner (LAA No. 1/MLB No. 81) was the second overall pick in the 2025 Draft, and although he's made one appearance in Cactus League play, he has yet to throw a pitch in an regular-season game as a pro. Nelson Rada (LAA No. 3), who reached Triple-A at just 20 years old last season and teenager Joswa Lugo (LAA No. 7) will also see action. All told, seven of the club's top 10 prospects will take part. Astros
Kevin Alvarez (HOU No. 1) hit the ground running last year, posting a .874 OPS during his pro debut in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League. The 18-year-old will be joined at Spring Breakout by Xavier Neyens (HOU No. 2) and Walker Janek (HOU No. 5), who put together a solid first full pro season in 2025.
Athletics
The roster is headlined by shortstop Leo De Vries (ATH No. 1/MLB No. 4), the premier prospect acquired in a package from the Padres at last year's Trade Deadline. The 19-year-old is joined by fellow Top 100 prospect Jamie Arnold (ATH No. 2/MLB No. 41), who will make his pro debut in 2026. The duo leads a contingent of 20 ranked prospects, the second-highest total (along with the Dodgers and behind the Mariners) in the event.
Mariners
Seattle will feature six Top 100 prospects -- led by Colt Emerson (SEA No. 1/MLB No. 9), who is making a bid to crack the Mariners’ Opening Day roster -- in the showcase, the most among all participating teams. Joining the 20-year-old is last year's No. 3 overall pick Kade Anderson (SEA No. 2/MLB No. 21), fellow hurler Ryan Sloan (SEA No. 3/MLB No. 33) and plenty of other notable names. Seattle is the only roster that will feature all of its top 10 prospects. More »
Rangers
An injury to Sebastian Walcott (TEX No. 1/MLB No. 7) took away the club's sole Top 100 prospect, but plenty of talent remains to be seen. Josh Owens (TEX No. 6), a 2025 third-round pick who could see action in the field and on the mound, highlights a squad that features exactly half of Texas' Top 30 prospects. Yolfran Castillo (TEX No. 8) and Dylan Dreiling (TEX No. 10) round out the club's top 10 participants. More »
NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST
Braves
Draftees from the 2025 class are the stars of the offensive show here. Tate Southisene (ATL No. 4) and Alex Lodise (ATL No. 5) -- shortstops that the organization selected with its first two picks -- and over-slot fifth-rounder Conor Essenburg (No. 13) will make up a formidable lineup managed by Braves legend Fred McGriff. More »
Marlins
Injuries to Top 100 overall prospects Thomas White (oblique) and Aiva Arquette (groin) took some shine off this squad, but it still will feature more than half of their top 15 talents, beginning with Joe Mack (MIA No. 5) and Starlyn Caba (MIA No. 7). Agustín Ramírez started behind the dish in last year's contest, a reminder of how quickly some of the faces of Spring Breakout can impact the big leagues. More »
Mets
It's a testament to the depth of New York's system that it will be without its top three prospects but will still send one of the league's most stacked squads. Top 100 prospect A.J. Ewing (NYM No. 4/MLB No. 97) is fresh off impressing in Grapefruit League action, and it'll be the first look for many fans at Elian Peña (NYM No. 9), who signed for an international franchise-record $5 million as the No. 3 prospect in the 2025 class. More »
Nationals
At the heart of the overhauled Nats prospect group is the teenaged middle-infield duo of Eli Willits (WSH No. 1/MLB No. 13) and Gavin Fien (No. 5), who will be among the young bucks (or top guys, if you will) on display. There's also the triple-digit heat of fellow 2025 draftee Miguel Sime Jr. (No. 16) to be excited about here. More »
Phillies
Fresh off helping Team Italy to the World Baseball Classic semifinal and making the All-Tournament team, Dante Nori (No. 7) will look to jolt his fellow Phillies prospects with the espresso-laden vibes. Don't sleep on righty Matthew Fisher (No. 12), who got near second-round money to sign as a seventh-rounder in last year's Draft out of the Indiana high school ranks. It would be the unofficial pro debut for the club's top-ranked participating pitcher.
NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL
Brewers
The Brewers, who will be playing two games during the showcase, lead all clubs with the most prospects from the top half of their Top 30 list -- 13 of their top 15 prospects have made the Spring Breakout roster. Their top four prospects are all shortstops, and they’re all present, with Jesús Made (MIL No. 1/MLB No. 3) and Luis Peña (MIL No. 2/MLB No. 26) leading the way. More »
Cardinals
St. Louis will show off its rejuvenated and deep system with five Top 100 prospects in the showcase – JJ Wetherholt (STL No. 1/MLB No. 5), Liam Doyle (STL No. 2/MLB No. 34), Rainiel Rodriguez (STL No. 3/MLB No. 37), Joshua Báez (STL No. 4/MLB No. 87) and Leo Bernal (STL No. 6/MLB No. 98). That ties the Cardinals with the Dodgers for the second-most in the showcase behind the Mariners’ six. More »
Cubs
Last year's squad featured Cade Horton, Moisés Ballesteros, Kevin Alcántara and Jack Neely before they went on to make their Major League debuts later in the season. Who could do the same this go-round? Jonathon Long (No. 7) and James Triantos (No. 10) are knocking on the proverbial door of Wrigley Field, plus there's some intriguing 2025 draftees in the mix. More »
Pirates
The Bucs' roster is headlined by MLB's top prospect Konnor Griffin, the 19-year-old who is aiming to become the first teenager to make an Opening Day big league roster since Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. in 1989. Seth Hernandez (PIT No. 3/MLB No. 29), the sixth overall pick in last year’s Draft, will make his professional debut as well. That gives the Pirates 19 Top 30 prospects on their roster, trailing only the Mariners (21), Dodgers (20) and Athletics (20). More »
Reds
Spring Breakout will provide the first professional opportunity to see Steele Hall (CIN No. 3/MLB No. 83) in action, but don’t blink or you might miss him. The ninth overall pick in last year’s Draft was one of five prep shortstops to be taken in the top 10 picks, and he sports a run tool of 70. And he's just one of the eight top 10 Reds prospects in the showcase. Watch for heavy hitters Alfredo Duno (CIN No. 2/MLB No. 38) and Tyson Lewis (CIN No. 5) as well. More »

D-backs
Last year's first-rounder Kayson Cunningham (AZ No. 2), who appeared in 11 games in 2025, is joined on the roster by top prospect Ryan Waldschmidt (MLB No. 59), who has impressed in big league camp both at the plate and in the outfield and represents the organization's lone Top 100 prospect. Headlining the pitchers is another 2025 draftee, Patrick Forbes (AZ No. 9). Last year's 29th overall pick is heading into his first professional season. More »
Dodgers
Four of the Dodgers' five prospects on the Top 100 list are outfielders, highlighted by Josue De Paula (LAD No. 1/MLB No. 15) and Zyhir Hope (LAD No. 2/MLB No. 27) -- and both will be on the field. And the talent pool goes far deeper than that. L.A.'s roster includes RHP Christian Zazueta (LAD No. 10) and southpaw Adam Serwinowski (LAD No. 12). Along with the A's, the Dodgers feature the second-highest total of top 10 prospects (seven) and 15 of their first 20. More »
Giants
Luis Hernández (SF No. 3) is the top-ranked Giants prospect taking part in the showcase, which includes four more of their top 10 prospects in Gavin Kilen (SF No. 5), Dakota Jordan (SF No. 6), Bo Davidson (SF No. 7) and southpaw Jacob Bresnahan (SF No. 8), who earned California League Pitcher of the Year honors after logging a 2.61 ERA over 22 starts for Single-A San Jose in 2025. More »
Padres
Ethan Salas (SD No. 2) is the headliner for San Diego, and it’s worth a reminder that he’s still only 19 years old. Jorge Quintana (SD No. 7), who arrived from Milwaukee last summer, is also someone the club is very excited about. Kruz Schoolcraft (SD No. 1/MLB No. 88) -- the Padres' first-rounder last year -- is joined by Miguel Mendez (SD No. 3) and Kash Mayfield (SD No. 4) among the pitching crop. Fans will catch a glimpse of eight of San Diego's top 10 prospects. More »
Rockies
Ethan Holliday (COL No. 1/MLB No. 24) could draw a majority of the attention, but he's not alone. Charlie Condon (COL No. 2/MLB No. 70) missed last year's Spring Breakout due to injury but is ready to flex his muscle this time around. JB Middleton (COL No. 7) and Brody Brecht (COL No. 8) are both talented pitchers whom the organization is extremely high on.
