BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Minor League Baseball have announced the Shuckers' complete 2027 schedule, including 69 games at Keesler Federal Park during the team’s 12th season. For the first time since 2023, the Shuckers will open the season at home, with Opening Day scheduled for Friday, April 2, against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, as part of a three-game series. “Not only are we excited to finish our 2026 season with a chance to win our first Southern League title, but we’re already looking forward to an incredible 2027,” Shuckers General Manager Hunter Reed said. “With 69 fun-filled games at Keesler Federal Park, including 36 weekend matchups from Opening Day in April through Labor Day Weekend, fans will have many great opportunities to experience the excitement of Shuckers baseball.”
Highlights include a Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos from May 25 to 30 and August 31 to September 5. The Shuckers will also host 12 games in 13 days between July 27 and August 8.
The Shuckers will play 84 of their 138 games against divisional opponents, including 30 games against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Miami Marlins) and Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays) and 24 against the Columbus Clingstones (Atlanta Braves). The 84 divisional games are tied for the most of any team in the Southern League. The Shuckers will see all North Division opponents at least twice, including 18 games against the Chattanooga Lookouts and 12 against the Knoxville Smokies (Chicago Cubs), Rocket City Trash Pandas (Los Angeles Angels) and Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox).
