
BILOXI, MS– The Biloxi Shuckers and Birmingham Barons were postponed on Friday at Keesler Federal Park due to rain. The suspended game will be made up on Saturday, May 23, beginning at 5:35 p.m. in the top of the 11th inning with the Shuckers trailing the Barons 6-4.
Tonight’s original game will also be made up on Saturday, May 23, approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the contest, and a nine-inning game will take place. The Biloxi Mudbugs alternate identity makes its return for the second time this season, complete with specialty hats and jerseys! The first 1,500 fans will receive a Mudbugs-themed bucket hat presented by the Beau Rivage. Specialty food items include a Crawfish Etoufee Sausage Dog (Aw Shucks), Crawfish Etouffee Balls (Lighthouse), Crawfish Mac N Cheese (Catch of the Game) and a Crawfish Poboy (Lighthouse). It is also Educator Appreciation Night. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.
Tickets from tonight’s game can be exchanged for any remaining regular-season game (excluding July 3 & 4), for a ticket of equal or lesser value at the Shuckers Box Office. As stated on tickets, no refunds will be given. Coverage begins at 5:15 p.m. with the On-Deck Show on the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network and The Hype 100.9.
