Hickory, NC- The Crawdads are expected to return to action at LP Frans Stadium Tuesday, June 2nd for a six-game homestand against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.
Following a fire in the visiting clubhouse in early May, repairs are progressing well and pending a final inspection on Monday, the Crawdads will resume their home schedule at the Frans.
Tuesday will kick off with Dollar Dog Tuesday by Hebrew National and WHKY 1290AM and 102.3FM as well as Craft Beer Tuesday by Lowes Foods.
The Llamas de Hickory will be in action on Wednesday. It is a Kids Win Wednesday at the Frans and kids 12 and under can get a free ticket, meal voucher, and amusement wristband thanks to Arby’s. Tickets must be done in person at the ticket office.
On Thursday, the Crawdads are hosting Emo Night with themed music and in-game entertainment. Plus, it’s Thirsty Thursday- enjoy discounts on domestic beer and Pepsi products thanks to Focus News. Peoples Bank customers can show their card at the ticket window to get a discounted $6 ticket to the game. Plus $2 tacos at the first base nacho stand!
Friday is going to be a “popular” night at the Frans! The Crawdads will defy gravity with No Place Like Home Night with a post-game firework show courtesy of the Paper and Big Dawg 92.1
The weekend will continue with Everything is Bigger at the Ballpark Night! The evening is dedicated to the Crawdads’ Major League affiliate and the team will be wearing their specialty Texas Rangers tribute jerseys. Before the game, a line dancing group will perform from the concourse. The festivities don’t stop there- the first 1,000 fans will get a cowboy hat thanks to Black Tie Transportation and WHKY 1290AM & 102.3FM. The evening will be capped off with a newly added firework show.
The homestand will conclude on Sunday afternoon. Sunday is Bark in the Park and fans can bring their dogs to the stadium. Bluey will also be in attendance for a meet & greet. The appearance is sold out, information will be shared with fans who pre-purchased their slots in the meet & greet. Sunday is also a Church Bulletin Sunday by Harrison’s and fans can bring a church bulletin for a discounted ticket.
