Following a successful “Boo in the Woo” Fall Festival that drew more than 1,000 fans to Polar Park this past weekend, October 17–18, the Worcester Red Sox today announced they will be extending the family-friendly festival to next Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Tickets are available at polarpark.com/boofallfest. Tickets are $12 for children aged 2–17 and $15 for adults aged 18 and older. Children aged two and under are free.

Weather forecasts are calling for a beautiful New England fall weekend with sunshine each day, temps in the high 50s on Saturday, and temps in the mid 60s on Sunday. Families can enjoy the gorgeous autumn days by having a “Sunset Catch on the Field” and taking swings in the WooCages, where professional baseball players take their batting practice.

During each of the last six WooSox Baseball seasons in Worcester, the club has presented a “Sunset Catch on the Field” following every Saturday home game. The promotion is among the club’s most popular in its history.

Youngsters can also enjoy fall-themed bounce houses and carnival games on the field, pumpkin bowling on the main concourse, and miniature golf inside the Visitors’ Clubhouse.  Additional activities include a corn pit, a pumpkin patch, a hay maze, and face painters.  As youngsters run around and play, parents can enjoy various sports games on TV.

Every child will receive an adorable and free trick-or-treat bag featuring the Central MASScots in their Halloween costumes––Smiley Ball, Woofster the WonderDog, Roberto the Rocket, and Clara the Heart of the Commonwealth. Bags can be customized with markers and stickers at craft tables.

Fans can enjoy a festive fall menu full of treats, including Candy Apple Nachos (a basket of apple slices topped with candies and caramels and chocolates), fun “blood bags” filled with lemonade and fruit punch, Muenster Mash Burgers, Glazed Donut Burgers, Woofster Mummy Dogs (mini hot dogs), bottomless popcorn buckets, Halloween-decorated cupcakes, and Table Talk Pies. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for adults 21+.
