Rangers to host Indians & Athletics during 7-game homestand

The Texas Rangers return from the All-Star Break to open a seven game homestand against the Cleveland Indians and Oakland A's beginning Friday, July 20, at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Arlington, Texas -- The Texas Rangers return from the All-Star Break to open a seven game homestand against the Cleveland Indians and Oakland A's beginning Friday, July 20, at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
Cleveland opens the homestand with a three game series Friday, July 20, at 7:05 p.m.; Saturday, July 21, at 7:05 p.m.; and Sunday, July 22, at 2:05 p.m.
On Friday, the first 15,000 fans will receive a PowerAde/Kroger Celebration Snow Globe. And T-Mobile Friday Fireworks, set to a theme of Texas in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, will follow the contest.
Fans who picked up the Dr Pepper/Albertsons Adrian Beltre Best Friends Bobblhead on June 16 can complete their set on Saturday, when the first 15,000 fans will receive a Dr Pepper/Tom Thumb Elvis Andrus Best Friends Bobblehead.
Saturday is also another Texas Rangers FOX Sports Southwest University Days, as Oklahoma State University takes its turn in the spotlight. Dallas Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin, an Oklahoma State product, will throw a first pitch as part of the pre-game festivities.
Fans can purchase tickets for Oklahoma State UDays at texasrangers.com/udays and arrive early to receive a special edition, Rangers cap themed in Cowboys colors. The hats are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The Cleveland series concludes Sunday, when fans 13 and younger can also enjoy $1 ice cream thanks to another Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday.
Oakland is in town for the final four games of the homestand. The division foes square off at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, July 23; Tuesday, July 24; Wednesday, July 25; and Thursday, July 26.
Wednesday is Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Night.
Fans who purchase the Xmas in July Theme Night ticket for Wednesday's game through texasrangers.com/themenights can receive a limited edition Nomar Mazara elf on the shelf.
The homestand concludes on Thursday, when another Theme Night celebrates the 25th anniversary of "The Sandlot." Tickets purchased for "The Sandlot" Theme Night through texasrangers.com/themenights will receive an exclusive Adrian Beltre "slime" baseball.
