Blue Jays players and fans showed off their bowler and batsmen skills at Cricket Day

On the surface, baseball and cricket are quite similar. In a way, they're like cousins, each -- in their way -- involving pitches being thrown, balls being hit, and runs being scored. Beyond that, though, the two sports differ greatly. (At least, until we start calling killer sweepers, "jaffas.")

Recently, the Toronto Blue Jays hosted their annual Cricket Night, a day when Canada's only Major League team celebrates the other bat-and-ball sport with Canada's national cricket team making an appearance. This time around, Felix White, a BBC baseball commentator and member of the rock band The Maccabees, and Toby Marriott from Cricket District came along to tour Rogers Centre, learn some Blue Jays history, give Jays fans a chance to show off their cricket skills, and even get Blue Jays players Daulton Varsho and Brendon Little to play a little of the game.
