Adam Rosales hits absolute no-doubt homer, then records second-fastest trot in Statcast history

When you hit a home run, it's almost your duty to admire your work and take your time trotting around the bases. Especially if you hit one like Adam Rosales did during the Padres' 5-4 win over the Pirates on Tuesday night. You know, up, and out, and off the roof of the Western Metal Supply Co. building in left field:

But instead, perhaps trying to get in some extra cardio this week, Rosales raced around the bases.

Statcast measured his home run trot speed at 16.3 seconds -- the second-fastest time ever behind Billy Hamilton's 16.2 from earlier in the season. This means that Adam Rosales is almost as fast as Billy Hamilton in some totally arbitrary way and, that, is something Adam Rosales has to be pretty happy about.
