Anthony Rizzo's Game 2 homer found its way to an ecstatic Cubs fan at Nationals Park

Nationals Park is more than 700 miles from Wrigley Field. But if you think that meant that there would be no Cubs fans in attendance for Game 2 of the NLDS, well, you clearly aren't familiar with Cubs fans.
And sure enough, when Anthony Rizzo launched a two-run homer in the fourth inning off of Gio González, he hit it directly to ... a very happy Cubs fan:
The play was initially reviewed to determine whether the fan had reached over the fence to make the grab. But the call on the field of a home run was upheld -- as he quickly reminded the many people who flooded him with calls:
No, that man did not drive all the way from Chicago for the game. He's Sean Thompson, from nearby New Kent, Va., and he's been a Cubs fan since 1988 -- when Mark Grace got him hooked on the North Siders.
As he told MLB.com Real-Time Correspondent Amanda Bowen, he and his wife are both huge Rizzo fans, and while he's sorry he plucked the ball from his brother's grasp, he had to do what he had to do.
