It might be January, but Gary Sanchez's swing is in midseason form

Yankees catcher Gary Sánchez is off to a scalding hot start to his career, having followed up a runner-up American League Rookie of the Year campaign in 2016 with a remarkable 2017 that saw him set the franchise record for most homers by a catcher in a single-season. In just 177 games played, he already has 53 dingers.
So, it shouldn't surprise anyone that Sanchez is already back to work on his hitting despite Spring Training still being over a month away:
