Jerry Blevins offers his best back-to-school tips

September is here, which means that school is back in session, and the summer vacations are officially in the rearview mirror. Going back to school can be bittersweet. Yes, you have to remember how to do your homework, but you also get to see your friends again. And of course, the first-day-of-school jitters are real for everyone. 
It's been a decent while since Mets reliever Jerry Blevins had to think about going back to school come September, but he still has some fairly vivid memories of his times as a kid and what his go-to back-to-school routines were to ensure a strong start to the academic year. For Blevins, it was all about the shoes.
