Nomar Mazara is getting his second straight start in right field for the Rangers in Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The game is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 ET/6:30 CT on TBS in the United States and in Spanish on MLB Network. The game will be televised by Sportsnet (English) and TVA (French) in Canada.
Shin-Soo Choo started in right field in Game 1 for the Rangers before Mazara played there in Game 2. Mitch Moreland is back at first base for Texas with right-hander Aaron Sanchez pitching for Toronto.
Blue Jays infielder Darwin Barney got the start at second base in place of the injured Devon Travis for Game 3.

Barney also got the start in Game 2, after Travis went down with what turned out to be a bone bruise in his right knee. Travis is considered day to day, but his status for the remainder of the ALDS remains in doubt if the Rangers extend it beyond Game 3.
Barney went 0-for-3 in Game 2, and he's a career .249 hitter with a .641 OPS over seven years in the big leagues. He's also a former Gold Glove Award winner and provides well-above-average defense at second base. Barney is hitting ninth in the lineup, while left fielder Ezequiel Carrera remained in Travis' typical spot at the top of the order.
