Good grief! Pitcher loses cap on sharp liner

If you're Framber Valdez, you have to take your hat off to Alex Bregman ... literally.

Eric Sogard, leading off for the Blue Jays in Saturday's 7-2 Astros win, smacked an 89 mph liner back up the box against Valdez. The force of Sogard's hit knocked off Valdez's cap, somewhat reminiscent of what generally happened to Charlie Brown in the comics.

Bregman snagged the ball deep in the hole at shortstop and fired it to first base, where Tyler White made a terrific stretch to retire Sogard.
